Deleted prims still use prim quota & appear invisible

Hi,

I put 2 buildings from a free warehouse on my new land then deleted them, but they would not delete so i logged off and came back but they were still there but invisible and i could not delete them or even select them. They do not go if i click return all objects to owner or if i click and drag to select them.

SL customer service is taking aaages like any game so i was wondering if you could help me?

I had exactly the same thing yesterday. Luckely I own an island, so I could do a SIM restart which solved the problem. It looks like that the latest 'fix' for inventory loss caused some new bugs.

You might want to open a support ticket at the new support center, or ask the estate manager to reboot the sim if you are on a private island.

Someone in another blog post also mentioned the same problem:

whos the owner of the island?

okay thanks.. the most common solution suggested was a region restart.. how do i find out who the owner of the island peraut is ?

World -> Region/Estate -> Covenant

The Estate Owner must be mentioned somewhere there.

Hi MaxM,

I've had the same problem problem over the past two days. Since I do not own an island or a sim I used the "About Land" -> "Objects" tools to "return" my missing prims.

Same problem here too....the problem is resolved by submitting a ticket in the SL help. In the ticket say exactly what you said here, and include the name of the region in which this is occuring. They will restart the region/sim and the problem will be resolved.
