Hello, just a brief note to request info on any jewellery tutorials that may have been created. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Hi Layla,

This thread contains everything you need to know to create the tiny prims you need for jewellery.

A few other tips :

Always work over bare ground or something that is locked down. It's very easy to misclick on a tiny prim (I've done it!), and you don't want to be moving bits of your house by accident.

You'll probably need to work somewhere with a lot of free prims. Making jewellery is very prim-intensive.

Grab a posing stand. If you need to log out and save your work, select the posing stand and your work together, then when you bring it out next time, you don't need to fiddle around realigning it to your av.

Paticence! You'll find the camera controls are.. well.. pretty uncontrollable when zooming in close enough to see what you're doing.

Hope that all helps :D

I would also suggest, if you're working on things that don't need to be contoured to your avatar's body and you don't need to worry about the scale of them, physically staying away from the jewelry. Get off the posing stand, move the jewelry away from you, whatever. The reason for this is that you can't zoom in very close on your avatar itself, and if you're "wearing" the jewelry while working on it, it's easy to accidentally get the camera focused on your avatar instead of the jewelry. When this happens, when you go to zoom in, you'll not be able to get really close to your jewelry.
