Is there any plan / call for these sims to be perpetually dark / nighttime during the Burning Halloween event?
I for one would like darkness for this event. Halloween in the daytime just isn't creepy enough, dang it. =SV _____________________

I would prefer perpetual late dusk - you know with that reddish orange glow on the horizon?

Might I make a suggestion?

Dear Haney and All .
Why dont you ask everyone that wants plots to respond and then Pick everyones name from a hat or something . Then the time issue is no longer an issue . Just like you did the theme park. Sounds alot more fair then 200 users crashing the sim while trying to buy land at once . Do i meke sense here ? |

Yea I see they try hard in "american timezones". 5 pm PST and 8 pm PST is 2 am and 5 am here. I dont particulary want this one - it was merely a sigh *there they go again...* And yes they do require we are north american residents. Then they let us chose country and accept our euros and krones ![]() There is a pretty large amount of non-north american residents here and I do think it should be taken into consideration when open up new land and such. _____________________

There is not a cut off day. Some builds will go up immediately, others will be in progress throughout the week.

Come see B.L. Zebub's Used Cars and Carnival of Souls, northeast corner of Lime. Still under construction but going up fast. Free balloons for the kids.

Well, my plot is done build-wise, but I still have to add in a few scripted goodies
![]() That being said, stop by Lime (187,234) to check out my version of the Bates Motel from Psycho. And stop by again later in the week, when there will be a few surprises in the rooms ![]() -Bone |

The Ghosthold Cemetery is almost entirely built now, hovering at the edge of the 400 prim limit, too.
![]() Next, and what I'm working on now, is the incorporation of a game into the site. We'll see how that goes, and I'll announce here when it's ready to play. Oh, and feel free to use the location for haunted gatherings. Don't lose anyone in the fog. ![]() _____________________

Tree of Pain
10-29-2003 10:56
The Shrike Tree is up, and looking for its next victim, sacrifice, whatever you want to call it. If you've got a creature or body sculpture that deserves the gift of pain, bring it by tonight, and the Shrike will see to getting it suitably impaled!

Damn, BH is so empty!
We dont celebrate halloween here so I wouldnt know what to build. I was there today, I love ananda's shrike thingy, though that cemetery is way too laggy, prolly cause of all the particles. |

Sorry... I'm gasseous.
If you are visiting the cemetery, and it seems slow, that's a good time to adjust your client's max particle setting. If it's slow here, it'll be slow anywhere there are this many particles. Scale it back till you run fine. Think of it as a proving ground AND a haunting ground. ![]() _____________________

Come by Lime and check out Frankenstein's monster, the Mummy man, and the Werewolf. Not too freightning but hey, they are horror and halloween classics.

Well, as I probably won't have any more time to spare, I'm declaring the giant devil-penguin and his followers complete. Stop by the southern end of BH and say hello.

it's in Plum... I think... whichever is more to the south _____________________

Hey Bonecrusher great build but one question, is it suppose to spam all the way to Mocha? I was at my place, the Welcome house and the No Mother thing was going off a bit.. Didn't know if that was intentional or not..but I am not bothered by it either, I think it is funny..hehehehe..One of my Fav movies of all time..
