Anyone else having this problem with sculpties when losslessly uploading via SLImageUpload?

It seems to have full-alpha'd the very bottom of the sculptmap for some reason. Is it just me or what?

Can't say I've had that problem.. I assume it looks correct in sculptyspace or some other preview tool?

Looks correct in sculptyspace, sculptypaint, and the Rokuro Pro previewer (It was made in Rokuro Pro).

I tried reuploading and it did the same thing, even though if I open it in Photoshop the whole texture is there

Try resampling it to 128x128 by nearest neighbor and uploading that... 512x512 lossless is unlikely to load completely!

Also be sure that your sculpty script creates the right shape: a sphere for example, but there are other shapes that work too. See also my posting: /8/f0/220237/1.html

Didn't even think of that!

SO then Rokuro Pro outputs to a 512x512..I need to remember that lol...

Thanks Daniel ^_^

If Rokuro is indeed outputting sculpt maps at 512x512 (I've never used it, so I don't know), then that's a serious flaw that needs to be fixed. Sculpt maps should always be 64x64, no larger, no smaller.

In the past, people routinely used larger maps to lessen the impact of compression artifacts. However, now that there are multiple ways to upload (small) images losslessly, there's no reason ever to go so big. Stick with 64x64, always.

It may be possible to change it within Rokuro, I just didn't think about it as I didn't realize that would happen.. I'll post on the Rokuro thread though.
