Building tiny objects?

Hi!
I am comparatively new to Sl, but not new to 3D design... and I got immediately fascinated by the possibility to build attachments for avatars: rings, collars, earrings, etc.

But then... I hit a wall... you can't size down your objects to be so small that they can be worn. I know SOME of this work can be done as tattoes, but that is not the solution for me.
Any advice/links/ideas, please? I know a solution is out there somewhere =)))

Regards & kisses

I'm glad you asked, Anna. A couple of months ago someone posted a brief 'how to' idea on dimpling prims, which basically turns them inside out and makes them very tiny.

He called them "primcules" if I remember, but all of my searching efforts since then have turned up nothing. Maybe someone can explain how it works, or try it themselves and post their results?
