Script to hide prims?

I'm looking for something that will hide prims. I'm not talking about an alpha texture which will only cover the prim that it is applied to. I need something that will hide the prim it's placed over. This would be to make "fake cuts" in shapes.

And the only invisibility script I have hides avatars. I'm probably not expressing myself very well but if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Its kind of a bad hack, but you could use that same script that masks out avatars by simply setting the transparancy of the prim you wish to hide to 2%.

I think you can also create a 32-bit texture with a zero transparency alpha channel.

Avatar invisibility scripts such as this actually make any texture with an alpha channel invisible. This is why they also make trees invisible.
