I'm looking for something that will hide prims. I'm not talking about an alpha texture which will only cover the prim that it is applied to. I need something that will hide the prim it's placed over. This would be to make "fake cuts" in shapes.
And the only invisibility script I have hides avatars. I'm probably not expressing myself very well but if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks!

Its kind of a bad hack, but you could use that same script that masks out avatars by simply setting the transparancy of the prim you wish to hide to 2%.

Avatar invisibility scripts such as this actually make any texture with an alpha channel invisible. This is why they also make trees invisible. See Pete's and my other comments for suggestions.
