From: Void Singer we still can... what flavor of Linux is your favorite =) LOL! That'd have to be Ubuntu because it's the only one I've used.  And only then under duress when absolutely forced to test something.

Did you try the html5 autofocus attribute in your first input field? This might "kick" Safari into responding with a visible cursor.
