Did all the comments get deleted from the wiki or something?

Rock
Our Wiki is an online LSL scripting manual with hyperlinks, to which any of us can add examples, descriptions, explanations or comments at any time, thus building up a vital up-to-date reference source for us all. In use it is just a web-page opened by your browser, where you click on any underlined topic for further explanation. It was begun by some generous person/people transcribing and improving the standard LSL manual, and has been growing/improving ever since. I have it always open beside my 2ndLife window whenever I am doing non-trivial scripting, and regard it as a vital resource. The term Wiki refers to any user-modified document created and maintained by the Wiki software, and they are used for all sorts of purposes. The weird name is a bit off-putting at first, but if you don't want to contribute, it just looks and works like any hyper-linked online manual, ie an ordinary web document.. |

Here are some links to the wiki for you to examine and bookmark, Rock:
Live version, accessed via 2ndlife. The real thing: http://secondlife.com/badgeo/wakka.php?wakka=HomePage Emergency copy, put up when it crashed a few weeks ago, and not being updated at present. May disappear : http://www.tyrellcorporation.org/disabled/HomePage Frozen version, entire thing stored as a file which you download onto your computer. After which you can then read the whole Wiki when you are offline. Very useful: go to http://lslwiki.sdfjkl.org (another frozen online copy) and look for the download link to lslwiki-2004-11-06.tar.gz at the bottom of the pink panel. Download this file, decompress it, and then load its homepage.html or index.html into your browser, and you have the whole thing offline anytime. Though without any improvements/additions after the freeze date, of course. |

No the comments haven't been deleted or disabled. LL hasn't properly setup the wiki. I sent them an email about it last week about what they need to fix. I haven't gotten any emails back from them on the subject.

If they don't have the time to set it up properly, they should let some one in the community mange the server for them. Cough couch bad geometry. Hint hint.

If you're a dork like me and REALLY want to get at the comments, you can click a comments url and look up at the address bar. Notice that there are two ? characters in the url. Change the rightmost one to a & and it works. This lets you read comments, although actually adding one would be pointless until LL fixes their installation.

Complaint sent to Linden as well.
Note that if you change the rightmost "?" to a "&", just once, it seems like the "view comments" setting sticks for the rest of your session. Nash |

This appears to have been fixed. I can now toggle wiki comments on the main wiki page.

If that is so it's the only template they fixed.
What needs to be fix: All forms: This includes edit & search All Template Links: Revisions Template Generic Page Template Search Link at top of all pages Basicly everything that was layed out in this thread two weeks ago. _____________________
