Yeah, that's right, the dynamic / editable LSL wiki is now available on secondlife.com. Simply navigate community -> support -> wiki, and then click on 'Entire Wiki' under 'Helpful LSL Wiki Links' to return to what was Bad Geometry!

Awesome. I really missed this. Glad to see it back with Linden support.
BTW: it is not actually under "Community," it is under "Service & Support". Or the direct link: https://secondlife.com/badgeo/wakka.php?wakka=HomePage _____________________

AWESOME.
YOU GO GET 'EM, CAT O(' NINE TAILS)MEGA! It would be a thrill to see more community-developed resources be approved and made official by LL. I have been championing a number of these, such as Kex's Preferences Guide and the expanding SLUniverse knowledge base, for some time. Brings us all closer together! ![]() _____________________

Does anyone know if snapshots of the new wiki can be generated at regular intervals? If so, I could rebuild the CHM helpfile occasionally.

"Easier" direct link to remember:
http://secondlife.com/badgeo/ I would have prefered something like http://lsl.secondlife.com or http://wiki.secondlife.com/lsl/ or http://support.secondlife.com/lsl/, with none of this wakka.php?wakka=Hippo crap (just a simple /lsl/HomePage like the old way of doing it), but at least Wiki is back. _____________________

Has anyone else noticed that the 'diff' functionality of the LSL Wiki appears to be broken?

seems like all the comments pages are messed up also... it will say something like "there are 20 comments on this page" then when you click to see the comments, NADA... says there are no comments and asks to create a comment
try to create a comment and don't have access... im assumming only certain people have that but in any case i used to read the comments, etc and they are gone now |

Yeah, it is all pretty critical wiki functionality. if someone could fix that..

I think it's misconfigured. The part that is supposed to do aliasing isn't working.
this is also what is breaking revisions & comments CODE
there are two solutions use aliasing OR change the wakka templates so posts aren't malformed. for those of us how use a filter proxy we can filter the pages and fix this problem. i use proxomitron and so here are proxomitron filters i wrote. CODE

Ahhh! Thanks LL, too good that you host it finally.
Erm... and what about the chance to make it callable by the "help" button in scripts? Wouldn't it be cool? ![]() |

yep, good to see it back, I relied on it quite a lot
![]() Personally, I preferred it independant, since, unfortunately for me, secondlife.com is a gaming site and thus restricted where I work, so no script referencing at lunchtimes!! I'll have to try and make a copy! Welcome back anyhow. |

Yippee!
Is it just me, or is Search broken? No one has mentioned it, so I am guessing it is just me. It has been me a lot recently. When I try any search, it just refreshes the home page. |

Yeah, and selecting show/hide comments attempts to edit a funky new page, and attempting to show differences between revisions also fails. The diff functionality is especially important to the health of the wiki, since it allows us to quickly focus on each change made during peer review. |

I found that Search works ok for me in the Support Wiki ... so maybe not just me this time! Oh boy.

I guess those of us who don't run proxy filters and can't correct the wiki configuration will simply need to continue to wait for someone to notify whomever is administering the LSL wiki to correct this error. Anyone? |

In a previous life I played with filter proxies to bypass bad security. Now I use it to let me skip ads when watching music videos online.
When i was in the URU Beta i used it to inject modified files into the auto-update feature of the client. All this with my handy dandy proxomitron ![]() http://www.proxomitron.info/ (I of course use a modified version which has a slightly re-juggled interface for convenience) _____________________

I'm trying to use the F1 Help key in SCITez... but nothing happens.
I changed the user options file, and put this line in: command.help.$(file.patterns.lsl)="http://secondlife.com/badgeo/$(CurrentWord)" but that did not work. Do I need to change something about that, put it somewhere else, take the one from the original out, or.... or what? _____________________
