your correct, and it has a small random factor in the micro-second range. The x,y, and z chords will all be in the sim you just left from, locally. But the global chords will drop you in the right sim. Just do a llGetObjectDetails check again and tp right to them.

Need to add checks for the y coordinate being less than 0 or greater than 256 also, if you fly to a sim east or west it works, but north or south and it does not.

I haven't been able to locate any documentation for this script. Is there any instructions posted on the forum, or would anyone be willing to share their insight? TIA

documentation follows:
LL has disabled the ability for llGetObjectDetails to work like it did when Jana created it.
In other words; it won't work now. Sorry

Other mysteries of llGetObjectDetails
12-21-2008 01:02
Jana, I found the script in the wiki http://lslwiki.net/lslwiki/wakka.php?wakka=llGetObjectDetails a week or so back, and was interested in the possibility of using the same design to overcome the single sensor "16 closest" avatar and 96M limits. My testing has shown that I can track an avatar anywhere inside the current sim as long as I can "hit" them once with the sensor... but the same code that can track me all day, anywhere in the same sim, stops functioning when there are more than 16 avatars between the avatar and the prim with the script in it... It seems like this is important enough information for the documentation of llSensor to include, but it isn't anywhere to be found in the description of llGetObjectDetails... I'd be interested to hear if anyone playing with the code can replicate/verify this is a "feature" of the function and not just some failure in my script design....
