How do you make an object "UN-sittable"?

Thanks for all the responses. I had tried the Unsit after they already sat - but I have to prevent them sitting in the first place. They are in a confined tunnel and if they find a place to sit, and then get immediately unsat, they can end up outside the tunnel when they stand up. I'll take a look at some of the non (sit/unsit) suggestions.

Making a prim or linked set Phantom and making sure it does not intersect the ground or another non-phantom object will make it unsitable. This will give you the message "There is no suitable surface to sit on, try another spot." and best part is.... No script needed


That was the trick that solved my problem - thanks Gearsawe.
