I'm also going to agree with the sentiment that people should "be able to not have their key on that list." I don't want mine on there, either.

Logic is simple - while I know you mean well, part of the reason something like this isn't implemented in, say, llRequestAgentData, is there is a fairly high risk that people will use those keys for nefarious purposes - most pointedly, spamming avatars.

As for the potential gain, sure - GOM and other such services wouldn't require their own key collection.

However, I'm just not seeing the benefit outweighing the cost and the collection/publication of personal keys without consent might not be a polite way to go about it. If people consent to this, I might be more willing to agree to it.

Correction: As stated in the linked thread, this poster did not own the list in question. I'm going to request people funnel any further comments to the linked thread, and keep any "drama" out of here. Thanks.
