I wish I had the time to be a good sl citizen and keep up with jiras and report issues and inform people of problems.
I rarely have time to even come into the forums. I work in sl an average of 15 hours a day. My list of todo's today is longer than I can accomplish. Selling and providing customer support for over 300 different scripted products. Dealing with the new adult issues, managing keywords. SL is for the time being my primary income. I have to take it pretty seriously and maximize my time to those things that will return an income.
I wish someday to have the time to help Linden labs with their technical issues. But for now, its back to work for me.

/me staggers up from the basement covered in soot and takes off her goggles.

Wow, llTargetOmega is stubborn! Full bright one side is broken when that is on too.

All I got for you is a texture change. That is a partial up-date but it works! It has to be a real change, you can't cheat and set to the same texture. It could be OK for lag and appearance if you use small textures or library ones and keep them small and out of the way on a boring side. Do the switch in the llSetPrimitiveParams to piggy back on the full bright change.

tacking jira is easy... hit the watch link and it'll email you whenever it changes or someone posts a comment.

I treat the Jira like this:

1) Find a problem.

2) Search for it on the jira.

2a) If found; vote, comment, add screenshots if possible.

2b) If not found, make a new Jira, comment, add screenshots if possible.

3) Let the Jira take on a life of its own.

Really... If I add a duplicate, someone will mark it that way. We lost nothing. But we have gained a few new search keywords for the same problem. After I add my input to a pre-existing Jira, I'm pleased with that. I see no need for me to follow up. I didn't suddenly become someone's boss. Like ARs... Report it all and let the Lindens sort it out. (I know I'm exaggerating) (^_^)y

Voted. Thanks Viktoria and all on this thread. I have just been struggling with our stage curtains, which fade using alpha, and ran into this problem. For the moment I'll have to force full updates, sigh.

btw, is everyone aware of the entry in the urban dictionary? - Linden: to make something worse in the process of trying to fix or improve it.
