The vertical ceiling for unassisted flight varies by ground elevation, but it's roughly 140-150m above the terrain beneath you. (The higher the ground, the lower the relative ceiling) I'd say that 135m above the terrain is always reachable via unassisted flight. (See:  to determine the current ground elevation.) ~Boss
