I have a chair that has around 5 animations in it. I wanted it to be able to randomly change between the sit animations so the character wouldn't be completely static the whole time. Is it possible to script a chair to change animations every so often without unsitting the avatar or should I just create 1 long animation that loops?

I believe there is a script in the script library called "anxious chair" that does just that. You set a time interval, and it selects a random animation, starts playing it, then stops the previous animation.
To make this work the smoothest, use animations that all start and end in the sitting position, and have the same priority. I've seen some that have odd moments during the transition because one animation or the other has a standing or sittingdown phase. |
