torley you should never admit to crashing sims, intentionally or not.

Here's what happened:

Rickard and I got into his Hammerhead... we flew around and nuzzled the giant chair that was fallen over on its side. We kept "caressing" the support area of the seat where one's back usually rests (except one would have had to have a pretty big back to sit in this chair!), and flew around a little bit more.

Something odd happened. We started spinning around 360 degrees like we were in the deepest reaches of cold space. I tried to type but nothing came out. We just kept... spinning. I tried to Stand Up but nothing happened too. Finally, after several minutes of this, Rick and I IMed each other at the *exact same time* asking if we had crashed the sim. LOL. A few seconds later, we got the dreaded "sim going down" message and then we relogged.

It was particularly strange, considering that there were no physical torii collisions or anything of that nature. Just us... flying into a chair.

(Then again, stranger things had happened on Spittoonie -- also involving Hammerheads -- but that's another story for another virtual day.)
