Aww thanks Agatha and Paolo, this thread is a big ego boost, compliments on my ass and my house, my two best assets.
I'm told my milkshake brings all the boys the the yard. I even have the gesture and sound clip to prove it. We should make an ass thread, i want to see everyone elses, i feel exposed. _____________________

Your sense of proportion and symmetry are excellent, your attention to access lighting and ambience is razored, your color and shading eye is perfect.
I keep hoping to see you tackle Wright's designs and bring them into the world. Of all the designers and architect's I've seen in the world, your work has most impressed me for its sheer lack of pretention and gracefulness. Actually, part of me wonders if that is what you are attempting, as this latest design is close enough to Weltzheimer House to be astonishing. Regardless, beautiful work and best wishes for all success in your making of them. And, just in case you get a sudden urge to make, say, Wright's Fallingwater (my personal favorite), here's a blueprint and image. ![]() _____________________

As for tackling wrights designs I think he was a huge inspiration in this house. Check this out... ![]() EE Boynton House in Rochester, NY (Made by FLW) ![]() B. Anubis House in Hamlin, SL I just really loved the bank of windows in that house and thought it would be nice to take advantage of the view I had on the hill with something like that. Its also quite simple and beautiful I think. Also before I started this house I had started one where i used the Linden FLW house texture and a similar color burnt orange as was used in Fallign Water. But I felt i needed something more modern and bright for my furniture becuase most of it is modern/retro which tends to use brighter bold colors, and clean lines. I think the Boyton house was better for that. ![]() ![]() That house was not only not what I really needed but tons of prims. I think as of when i took it down it was already nearting 700 prims, which is about half of what I have on that land and the house wasnt even done! So I needed to go with something lower prim anyway. Overall thought I think I am more pleased with the current house, alothough i would like to finish the stone and redish one, its currently hiding in my inventory. Thanks for the blueprints, although I wouldnt have a clue how to follow them, and Im told RL dimensions usualy dont work in SL always, but Im sure I could still use them for some inspiration. Falling Water is one of my favorite houses too, I dont think I would want to copy it flat out though, it would be alot to try and live up to! I would certainly love to do something similar to it though. _____________________
