Malachi Petunia put on a vigil tonight for the Giant Cube. While he thought it was a good idea to pass out candles when next to a giant wooden cube, it turned into an inferno.

My camera malfunctioned during the initial portion of the blaze, but suffice it to say that several Oompa Loompas were burned to death in a slow and painful manner.

Nope...

One day, I'll find your SL house and stick an ugly griefing-build on a hill overlooking it so that it's the first thing you see when you log in or tp home...

Then I'll get it endorsed by the Lindens... and hold 'save the ugly griefing-build' events...

Then we'll see who got up on the wrong side of the bed.

Oh please. If one woke up and found your elegant build next to theirs, they might consider you a big whiner.

"Ugly griefing build"? It was a cube, and it's gone, but your aesthetic, profiteering mall remains.

Wait until someone builds a bad goth castle next to your parcel and you come "home" to find that there are periodic screams coming from 4m over your property lines and a steady stream of "bat" particles pour through your walls. Then your irritation might seem like something vaguely compelling.

Oh and your signature has gotten unfunny and big and annoying; where can I complain about that? I suggest you get outside more or buy a private sim, or a sense of humor, or tolerance.

The cube may be gone, but the memory lives on...

I was able to secure some sales space in a mall near the former Giant Cube at Mocha (191,119) for those who were unable to obtain a commemorative t-shirt at the vigil.

I don't live in the mall...
or the market... and that oh so profiteering place costs L$1 per week... yeah, I'm really going to get rich off that.

The baby pet cube... anyone else got one? It's my humble companion anywhere I go.

Meh.

Everyone else had fun, sorry you're the one that didn't.

I do have to wonder why everyone sets things I build on fire though... first SLOPCO now this.

Ah Cie... it wasn't as bad as I make out, just that it was this plain cube... it was in my face every time I logged in, like some half built plywood monstrosity. I'd probably have ignored it if people hadn't been making a bloody religion out of it.

That is pretty much the key to the appeal of the Giant Cube! No one in their right mind would worship something with the plywood texture.

At least the CUBE was only a short term joke.

You should all be ashamed of your self. Poor Sio here had to put up for many moon with a build that was in a completely different level of cool. It is inconsiterate to expect somone to be able to understand such unfathomable levels of awesome. We're not all equipped for it. So show some respect for the poor girl.
