Ariel, that's just freaky... in a funny sort of way... it's like... bizarro-Ariel and bizarro-Rickard on a shooting spree. It's got this sad sort of melancholic sadness over it. But, it's also funny. Wait, I already said that. :)

Wow...I've been thinking about User Postcards for sometime now and how to make them more available to the community and I really like the idea of the "Wish You Were Here" concept Burke provided.

So, send me jpegs of the coolest thing you've created along with your Screenname and location (if applicable), where the cool thing can be found or bought and I'll load the most interesting ones up in a new postcard program for everyone to play with and send to their friends.

Send your images to [email]refer@secondlife.com[/email].

Make sure the file is either a jpeg or zipped up.

Thanks Catherine, for posting about this -- I am wondering, does it have to be something *I* created, or is a picture of me standing next to a build by someone else I appreciate acceptable too? I wonder because I am not a builder, but an explorer, but I see many kewl sights along the way (i.e. Franathema Macrobuild in Kexland aka Meins).

Not to mention things that are not necessarily "built", but come into being, sustain for awhile, and then dissipate. The magic came and went, and it'll come again. Things are so dynamic in SL...

Absolutely... :) Wouldn't want certain of my friends to hunt me down with the weapons and/or vehicles and/or unclassifiable thingamajigs they've created. ;)

Oh, one more question for clarification: can the images be Photoshopped or otherwise edited or do you prefer a "raw screen grab" to add your own captions or whatever it might be?

Sure thingie. I'll be scaling JPEG compression to high-qual then so that any subsequent edits won't cause too much lossiness.
