Post your pics of your favorite SL possession(s). They could be clothes, vehicles, builds/objects, avatars/people (if you are into that sort of thing :D), etc. They could be built by you or by someone else. Happy postings! :)

Edit: I forgot to add a description of my picture. D'oh :o
The picture attached is of one of my dolls. I made her to look like my avatar and really inspired me to make more dolls (especially dolls modeled after my friends). She has a little squeek piggy (my avatar has one too, though you can't see it in the picture) and she meows when touched... just like me! :D

Ahh... Well that would be the "Love of my Life", my Hughes P21-J Devastator(a fictional aircraft from Crimson Skies). I've spent countless hours working on it(it's entirely home made). I've put tons of work into it with no plans on selling it. It's just a private piece that gives me untold joy to work on and fly.

Thanks, thanks.

Thats a good looking baby, Andie... When I first saw it I couldn't help but fancy the thought of a Lonewolf and Cub avatar.

I would have to say my little Chihuahua. There's just something about him I like. He's mischievous!

I really like my TARDIS. And yes, the doors do open - although it's not bigger inside than out.

My Librarian's Toolkit
01-11-2005 16:45
I've recently been made the Librarian of Isle du Montmartre.

Anxious to faithfully execute every aspect of my highly-demanding job, I've come to the realization that I may have to occasionally go out and collect overdue book fines, once the Library actually gets some, like, books.

And I have just finished off an appropriately respectable ensemble; one which I think elicits a certain sober consideration from prospective book abusers.

The suit and glasses are standard issue for the Montmartre Gardiens (management team).

The matching Seburos were Christmas gifts from Jase Byrne and Mae Best. I call the left one "Snookums" and the right one "Mister Fluffy." I'm busy needlepointing the cutest matching holsters you ever did see, if I could just stop screwing up the daffodils.

The bookmobile behind me is by one Maximus Zander, and was acquired last night, approximately five minutes before I logged on to the forums and realized that my w00t!-related revenue streams were about to dry up forever. I don't care; I would've bought it anyway. It's the first time in a month or so that I've seen something in SL and INSTANTLY known that I MUST have it. And it's a work of genius, every bit as nasty as it looks.

I think it all just works together.

Please, PLEASE. Oh, PLEASE be late with a book.

If we ever get one.

HAHAH OMG DANNY

PLS COME BY THE SL PUBLIC LIBRARY IN GUALALA SOMETIME :)

*grins*

We may need your help in actively enforcing "late fine offenders".

Thank you for your consideration.

ROFL Danny.... that's fabulous! I would be late with a book on purpose, if only to see that thing land in my yard and this nasty-looking dude get out and menace me. :D If you don't have books yet, can we commit other kinds of library-related abuse and get you to come after us? :)

My favorite possession is the helicopter Garth gave me for my RL birthday August 22, 2003. It was a custom version of the first helicopter he made and scripted in Second Life. The one on sale was a dark blue and seated six. He made this aquamarine one for me and named it "Pituca Deluxe 1.0"

I was so thrilled and I remember the first trip I took across the vastness of what was Second Life at that time. I flew from Shipley to Boardman up to Blue then doubled back to Varney and flew to Dore!

Ah! A tru fave of mine, among nonliving SL possessions, happens to be Kats Kothari's "Torleyzilla" (LOL Cross and Chuck, I just like this name too much,) doll. Kats did a smashing job with my likeness.

It is such a thrill in this thread, to read about my fellow friendly avatars's favorites! Especially when virtual objects are connected with a deeper, wider context of having some sentimental value... that's metapixelphenom for ya!

Oh! I like this game. But it's hard to choose just one!

That's okay, I've been known to cheat at these sort of things. Let me name a few :)

The little creature on my shoulder is little Ryoohki which Kats made for me. (Go to her shop! Her stuff is awesome!) I thought Ryoohki would be just sort of a passing fancy for me, but she's been on my shoulder since SL 1.1 :)

The necklace is by Annedroid Lily, possibly the best prim jewelry crafter in SL :) She made it after I showed her an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak necklace that I liked. It's been permanently affixed to my avatar forever too.

The jacket and the skin I'm wearing are one-ofs by Nephilaine Protagonist, and I love them dearly. What can I say, she spoils me rotten :p

Edit: Oops, and I forgot to mention that the glasses are a modification of Cienna Rand's wireless glasses which she made after I showed her a set of Cartier Rimless Motif C sunglasses which I was mooning over. (shop primcrafters!)

All my sculptures and my textures. I can post them all here, but there's specks of them posted here.

I also love my little waterfall/pool on my land. I traded in the undeground home for somethign on the surface. I lounge around here when I have nothing to do. Or I just want to de-stress. :D

Ok, so Fred isn't a possession as such, but he is my most favorite thing in SL... (yes I am a soppy git really), I mean I have shed loads of clothes I wouldn't be without, but I don't think there is one thing I treasure, cept for my wedding outfit, a custom by Neph, and of course my Tiara to go with it a one off by my great fried Joshua (<3), it's simply stunning and I adore it..

PS I am at work at the mo and don't have a pic of my tiara, when I get in-world, i'll take a pic and post it, then you will understand why I love and treasure it dearly :)

Those dolls of yours Kats are wicked, and where can I get one of those Chihuahua? My favourite thing at the moment would have to be my feather mask - but I havent worked out how to take a photo of it yet! (only new in SL). It talks to you and tells you how lovely you look! Classic.
BTW - what is the location of your shop Kats?

For great violence!

I'm partial to it because I just made it, but it's clearly my fave. It does NOTHING yet but look mildly menacing. Once I do script it it'll probably be a water gun.
