They are obviously correct!!! I thought to show a new house i am currently building based on the old rythme "The little old lady who lived in a shoe" except she's got to get with the times; especially in Second Life! ;)

Of course you could "put on" that shoe, my Love. Why not? But last time I had a look at your feet - which was, sadly enough, more than 24 hours ago - they seemed to be much to small for these shoes ;) And please ... don't put the slider for "size of feet" that far to the left, that they would fit. You know, I love you in any shape and color ... but feet of that size would be kind of impractical ...

I'm still learning by playing with prims so far and haven't tried making any small objects yet. :(

I think i just need more time to feel more comfortable before i try making smaller objects in the game by experimenting. I learn very fast using the hands on approach. Hopefully, if i can complete two other home projects; i'll have more confidence to attempt making shoes that AVs can wear.

One thing that i dont understand yet is how shoe makers can get the AVs to pose their feet in high arches like for the stiletto in the picture if it was AV feet size. I dont have the Poser program that people talk about nor would i know how to use it.

I love Second Life!!! If i know how certain things are made and have the skill to do it, i think the SL community would be flooded with my creations very quickly!!! ;)

If i somehow can shrink it without having to rebuild from scratch, i would; just so we have more shoes on the markets for sure! :D

I would love to see another shoe house and compare notes type of thing. Having started on June 30, 2005 i just started building two weeks ago and there is so much to learn in the game!

I started out with the "right foot" and after posting all these replies, hahahaha, i think i might have to make the "left foot" one just so i can sell it as a pair if i can shrink them down to the right size somehow. :)

First of all, Sylfie, wow! Great build! I can't wait to see an avatar-sized version. :)

The trick is they're not using Poser 99% of the time. They're using specially textured prims that make the avatar mesh invisible when covered by that prim. Take a look at this thread:

FREE Invisibility Prim Public v1.1 now available

It's not a perfect solution to the problem, but until we get something better from LL, this is what people use to get around that limitation.

Update to everyone who encouraged me!!!

It took me 8 hours tonite, but i made my very first pair of red stiletto shoes!! I just dont know how to make it wearable yet. :(
And thanks to Sean for showing me the small prim table, it made it alot easier to work with the prims and i think definitely alot less time! :)

Sleepy time for me now......4:15am in the morning......must work in 3 hours......Zzzzzz...*

These shoes are fantastic :) What can I say more?

The only suggestion I have to offer is to get the pack of anims specifically for very high heeled shoes that I've bought at the EXOTICA shop. I love those anims, but sadly the EXOTICA shop owner just has released one single pair of very high-heeled shoes :( Yours could just become the second pair to be offered for using those incredible anims!

Thank you for the suggestion!! Exotica, Reverie and Lostdogs; all seem to have very nice anim package deals for the AOs. I wouldn't know if all of them would work with these shoes until i can actually wear them to see how they feel/look walking, sitting, etc. to avoid any unneccessary expenses at this point.
