Hello All,
I have been in Sl for about 4 months now, and was given a box full of animations the other day. I would like to incorporate some of them in to furniture for myself (Some are sitting animations) but am unsure how to do it. I tried just dragging the animation into the prim, but it did not seem to activate when sat on. Do I need some scripting to make this work? If so, should I be posting this in the scripting forum? Any help appreciated

Yes you need a sit target type script telling it what animation you want it to use.. I'll have a look in the scripting library, if I can't find any I'll drop one on you in world next time I'm in..
Yadni's Junkyard might have some in one of the scripts boxes.. _____________________

This thread has the same question, might have some luck looking at a few of the places it suggests, I'll try and see if I can pop in world and drop one on you now though..

One of my faves happens to be CrystalShard Foo's implementation. It's fun and free, and I'm just sheerly surprised I haven't seen more alternatives inworld. I've given this out a lot, AND I WILL SEND TO YOU, AERYCK! So check your inv soon.
