G'day, I'm useing an updated Poser 6 and i was wondering if there are some Poser vets out there that can help me with a minor trouble. I'm getting the hang of things just fine, and things are generaly smoothing out, for the most part. All except one little querk: I make my animation and export it to BVH, no worries. Get it uploaded and looked at, in SL, just fine. When i go back to Poser, however and import the BVH i just saved, the character, on every frame drops, a somewhat random distance below the floor. Now this is realy no issue, because SL uses the first frame as the referance point (i know this now *LOL*) but it's kind of anoying to come back to work on something and the floor is nowhere in sight. I enjoy useing the floor as a referance point quite often My question is: Am i doing something wrong, when i export or import the BVH, in poser? Is this something i can fix, or should i just quit whineing and just save the entire Poser project, only exporting the BVH, when it's finnished? Actualy.. now that i write it out, that last option really dosn'ne seem like that much of a pain in the *ss, but now that it is all writ out, i'm just currious, anyway. Mayhap somefur can explane why it does this? Thanks, ~da Maus

From: Amus White My question is: Am i doing something wrong, when i export or import the BVH, in poser? An elementary mistake: You touched either "Body" or "CenterOfMass". Those part informations aren't export into bvh. So you expects the whole body moves, but it doesn't actually move. 2. Poser Bug: It has recently been reported. I guess this happens after releasing SR2 of Poser6. I still don't know how to solve this. You might need to wait untlll SR3.

Ive never been able to import BVH back into poser and have it look anything like it did before I exported it, I save all as regular poser files, then export as BVH.
If I need to go back and change I reload the poser file, change what needs to be changed, save it again as a poser file(normally with a v2 etc after it incase its worse in SL) then export to BVH.
I reapeat this process until its ok in SL.

Craig, it is usually true and alright that you mentioned. But I experienced this bug. Try to download this Chavo's file and see it by yourself. What I found this solution was reload the bvh and tweak again.
