I was wondering how you make animations, what program you use and how you upload them into the game, i want to start making some animations but i have no idea where to start.

if some1 could give a short but sweet tutorial on how to do it that would be very very helpful and this thread would be good to have as sticky for anyone else interested in starting to make animations for SL

Posers the program, .bvh is the format, http://www.ulrikasheim.org/animation/tutorial-basic.html is the tutorial.

Best of luck! :D

(I love these easy ones)

Pru, you might want to check out the FAQs for New Animators:

In addition to Ulrika's excellent tutorial, the FAQs point to answers for common problems you may have.

hmm sorry for that.
BTW, which version of Poser are you using?
From: Cristiano Midnight
Finally, if you are using Poser 6, make sure you download the service release for it from the Poser web site. Without the service release, Poser 6 exports do not work with SL without extra work.
Oh, and addtionally, you can try to use Ben Linden's excellent works from here. You might figure out what's wrong with yours. Do your best. ;)
