I'm starting to tinker in poser a bit and visited Renderosity once again. My question is there are poses for Victoria, michael, etc. Can we use these in SL even though we are not using these models? If so how?

I'm not entirely sure I understand your question, but in my experience, I've had to make all my own poses by hand, in Poser. Making still poses isn't all that hard. Just move all the limbs around. :) Making lifelike animations is much tougher. :P

You can use quiet a few pre made poses but will... at times... run into "some" problems with them when using the SL Avatar models. . At this point you can tweak the pose and work the kinks out to your satisfaction. It may take a bit of work... but... in my experience can still be a over all time saver.. in that it gets you into "ball park" range of a pose.

Many of the free animations that have been floating around SL for awhile or are more than default Poser poses and add ons.

This will also occassionally happen if you switch any figure's pose... say... use a Victoria 3 pose on a Victoria 1 figure.

Hope this helps...

I think you have to use the the default model for SL, its a dl off the website. I dont have the link, but i know i have seen it posted on another thread in this section. If i remeber correctly it was a poser 2 model or the new one off the website downloads section. If so the poses for the other models probably wont work. I am not an expert so dont take this as set in stone, but search the forums for models or something like that and you can find the thread with link to SL model file.
Look at this as well...a good tutorial

Following the guide step by step results in an error "Cannot get Rotation Values."

Here is a link to a thread about rotational errors. Try searching the forums; alot of answers to these problems come up if you use the correct keyword.
