Hello Dave
great tool you develop . Just some major problems i have with it as it crash all time i tray to import the BVH files . With the message to many joints. As i take a look the BVH use some times spaces and some time TAbs to seperate the Data.
Is there any solution to convert files with different BVH formats with your BVHacker? The turn around over a Text editor could help but still i dont get a working conversation to a SL usefull BVH .
Thanks in advance and keep your work on Bvhacker .

a common problem - fix to be in next release
07-27-2008 03:27
Hi Esmayeeli, The problem sounds like the tabs in your bvh file. If, using a text editor, you replace all tabs with a space, bvhacker should have no problem opening your file. If this doesn't work, please feel free to send me the bvh file (dave at davedub dot co dot uk), and I will check it out. I'm currently working on bvhacker 1.5 which has a number of improvements, one of which will be a fix for this problem. Kind regards, ave _______________________________________________________________ ---:: Animazoo animations - The best dances in SL - Smooth AOs - Freebies ::--- . _______________________________________________________________

Hi Esmayeeli,
I agree it's a pain having to use a text editor to replace the tabs, I have made fixing it a priority.
With regards the backwards legs problem, I'll have a look at the file if you like. Just email it to me at dave at davedub dot co dot uk.
Regards,
Dave

bvhacker beta available and new support forum open
11-03-2008 01:40
Hi All, As the user base of bvhacker continues to grow, I have had multiple requests for a support forum that doesn't require an SL account. In response I have started a new forum here: http://www.davedub.co.uk/forums/A test beta version of bvhacker 1.5 is now available. Version 1.5 has had a complete interface overhaul. There is now a menu system, a cleaned up interface and the ability to resize / maximise the app. In addition, many of the functions have been improved and updated. If you would like to participate in the bvhacker beta program, please join the forums and send me a PM. ave __________________________________________________ _____________ ---:: Animazoo animations - The best dances in SL - Smooth AOs - Freebies ::--- . __________________________________________________ _____________
