i switched to poser specifically to modify my limb lenths so i could make more accurate animations , but after i input xenon lindens avatar in my poser directory, loaded it in poser, then made a simple pose i got this message from SL when i attempted to upload
SL can't get rotation values from poser BVH
When i run a poser test bvh in avimator. it becomes clear that poser sets every body value to 0 ( with respect to avimator) even the hips - which must be +40 somethign i think.
if i take a nomral bvh from avimator and load it into poser, it does not normalize the poser avitar. Does anybody know how to set the hips in the normal position in poser 6 ?
cnt A does not work.

Well i have exactly the same problem, the funny thing is, if i import an usebale avmotion bvh, and export it in an new bvh createt by poser 6 sl dont want that file createt by poser anymore .. ( it cant be a problem with the file itself , becasue i can upload the original bvh createt by avmotion ) Same problem on anims wich are created directly with poser 1st frame all values to 0 but sl cant read the file .. Im sure i made something wrong, but cant figure out what .. it would be nice if someone who knows a solution for that problem, can post it here. Thanks ^^

I read something in the developers animation guide about a patch or something that was needed to correct bvh export. I don't know exactly since I don't use Poser 6. ADDITION: It's on the middle of this page http://secondlife.com/knowledgebase/article.php?id=050

There are two stickies in this forum that everyone starting out with animations for SL should read. If one is not starting out but is having a new problem checking the stickied threads would also be a good idea. Once you pull up a thread here there is a thread specific search if you want to try to avoid reading the entire stickied thread. In the second of the stickies - /52/32/107495/1.html - there is a link that concerns the can't get rotations error: /52/06/79269/1.html .
