Breaking the chain Parent/Child joints

I have read in the Poser 5 Manual about the Chain Break Tool.
Sadly, the manual only gives you a couple of very short paragraphs.
And does not go into much detail.

I have experimented with the Tool and it seems to only effect the Child joints in conjunction to the Parent. ( meaning I can then rotate and move the child joint without moveing the Parent.)
But has no effect on the child when moveing the Parent. ( meaning if I move the Parent, the child does follow.

My question is: Can I slightly rotate the chest, without moveing the Collars, shoulders, forams, Hands and Neck?

Any Help is appreceated.

While this is not a definitive answer, I would guess that anything you do to the poser figure in terms of breaking the parent/child relationship won't carry over to SL anyway. The importer simply imports rotation data and frame info. The shoulders and arms rotate when the chest rotates - there is no way that I know of to prevent that in SL.

well I have seen animations such as Meatball... one would think you could twist the body in most any way.
Also I have seen Tink Buttercups animations where the hips swivel while not moveing the legs or upper body.

Basicly this is what I am trying to do.
I want to create bouncing breasts in SL.... though I have been told many times this can not be done... I have a problem excepting that answer.

I have created a walk in the Walk desginer... reduced it from 120 frames, cycling 4 times, starting at Frame 1 to a 31 frames cycling 1 time. starting at frame 2
The extra frame is for that first frame that SL uses

Then I find the bottom of each step.... usually frame 3 and frame 18.
then I twist and bend the chest in a series of frames surrounding the bottom frames. to create the motion of the bounce,
However i have to go back and correct the shoulders and neck trying to get them as close to where they were before rotateing and bending the chest.
to create the illusion that the walk never broke stride in anyway other then the chests movements.
However I have no ruler to get exact measurements. Or a formula that can be applied to get the head, neck collars, shoulders back into their original position before the change.

Right now I am having to do it by eye ( we know how easily the eye is fooled ) and of course the animation winds up jerky.
I mean I have them bouncing now in SL but its only a close proximity.
is there a way to get body parts World Coordinates instead of their realitivity to the Parent joint?

Any Help is appreaceated.

PS: I am always trying the impossible...HELP!!

The amount of work required to do bouncing breasts would be amazing. It goes way beyond making an animation. Its as complicated as growing a third arm.
