I'v viewed other threads which haven't answered my questions so I thought I'd make my own. I'm interested in creating most things in Second Life, and animation are one thing I haven't ever improved doing. I can make simple animations in QAvimator, but never moving ones, What is the best program to use for making SL animations, I'v heard of poser but I'd like to know the best and most popular, not the easiest.
Thank's in advance!

Perhaps these stickied threads would be of use: "FAQ for Animators" /52/32/107495/1.html" Animation Editors" (Free & Commercial) /52/50/122549/1.htmlThey should be the top threads in this forum.

I eventually got the hang of Qavimator to create perfectly fine animations for SL. I would imagine that you should be able to do the same. After discussing the pros and cons with other animators, it's my understanding that Poser really doesn't offer much in the way of additional features to make SL-friendly animations.

I learned Qavimator first by trial and error, but I should have taken instruction early, it would have saved me a lot of time. If you check events you will find Qavimator courses every few days, from basic to more advanced. The main disadvantage to Qavimator is the very limited editing, so you have to learn how to plan out your keyframes strategically so you don't waste hours dragging stuff around. I have been pleased with finished projects but nothing EVER looks quite the same in SL as it does in the animation software.
