Does the main button say "AO On" and have a green color?
Did you click the 'Load' button and select the config notecard, so the script knows what animations it's supposed to be playing?
Have you checked the config notecard and verified that it actually has your sitting animation names in the notecard?
If you picked up an empty ZHAO, the notecard will usually be empty as well, and when you add animations to it, you need to edit the notecard and tell the script which animations to use.

Kudos to Vicky and Zig.
Zhao II rocks, easier to config and uses less screen space.
Vicky, your guide rocks! It would be very cool if you could update it for ZHAO II.
BTW, I suggest that for step 1, you add:
"Click BUILD button at the bottom of your screen. If you can't, go someplace where you can."
Because: (a) it makes it clear you have to be in buildable land, and (b) if BUILD is on when you drag, anything you drag from inventory is selected automatically.

Thanks Ziggy. Yes, AO on is in green, but I tried it both ways. Load works perfectly, I get to say I want my card which is still called empty. Maybe I should change the name to make sure that works. I am going to try renaming my animations too. I will recheck the notecard too, but editing it seemed easy. I mean, nothing seems confusing about using the ZHAO, that's one reason I like it

Well, if you did all that, I'm afraid the most common cause of problems at this stage is that you edited the notecard incorrectly. Did you:
* Make very sure you didn't accidentally add or delete any lines? * Make sure you typed in the animation names in the *blank* lines between the existing ":: [ Walking ] ::" etc. lines? * Make sure you typed the animation names correctly, including upper/lower case, spaces, etc.?
Feel free to give me a copy of your notecard, and I'll take a look when I log on tonight.

I'm going to hold off on giving out any more beta copies. I gave copies to several people, and so far, only a handful have provided any feedback at all. I guess that's what you get when you hire free beta testers. Should have offered money for feedback

Your beta just works so well that most people don't see any problems. I'm thinking about modifying you converter program that you've included in the beta to make a chat notecard for the setup to make misspelling animation names a thing of the past.
If you give me the multiple hover I would be happy btw.

From: someone I'm thinking about modifying you converter program that you've included in the beta to make a chat notecard for the setup to make misspelling animation names a thing of the past. Go for it. Though I do have an inventory check in the main ZHAO-II script when it's loading a config notecard, so it will warn you if it doesn't find an animation in inventory. I used to throw an error and stop loading the notecard, but as Keiki pointed out, this prevents one from using SL's built-in animations (they won't be in inventory). So now it's a warning. From: someone If you give me the multiple hover I would be happy btw. You're welcome to change this too you know

ZHAO working
07-21-2007 01:00
Hi Ziggy. I got my ZHAO to work! I am really happy with it. It is easy to use and yet does so much.
My problem before, I think, was that I moved the ZHAO to the ground, did all my editing, clicked on TAKE (following the SecondFrame instructions), then tried to use the ZHAO I had just supposedly edited. I didn't realize that TAKE created a new ZHAO and I had to use the new one.
I had a lot of ZHAO's in my inventory, because I was getting them from three different places, so I never noticed that there was one more new one. I only noticed when I renamed it ZHAO2 and then noticed that I had two of those.

Rasha I got over this by changing the name in the ZHAO rezzed on the land. Then when I TAKE it, it has a different name.
