i have a x1650 and run xp. it worked with the last omega drivers based on catalyst 7.1 (pretty slow but it worked). since i updated to the latets catalyst (7.5) it crashes before the rendering starts.  (never change a running system) |

works fine with both a radeon 9800pro w/ 128MB and a geforce 6800gt w/ 256MB

In theory you can have up to 8TB of memory in a 64-bit system. Anything less is an OS limitation (128GB in XP, 16GB in Vista Home Premium, 128+GB in Vista Business or higher)
