After reading all of these, Chaos is really standing out to me. For the obvious reasons of the name here in SL; and for the reasons of the poor kitties sad beginnings. I like it a lot.

i pick up the kitty this afternoon. after i meet him, i'll see what comes to me. but initially, i am totally enthralled with Chaos as well... i usually choose "people" names, so Oliver and Oscar also appeal to me. of the recommendations, i also liked Elliot.

Chaos is the only one suited for a cat, and not because it was my suggestion. The others might make cute puppy names. Random isn't bad either, though.

Oh wait. What's wrong with just "Neko"? Or "Neko Noir"

'Neko' just means 'cat'. No boy or girl about it.

hubby also wants me to add Jasper to the list but i don't like it. Rufus is the name of a cat down the street, so that's out.

We've widdled it down to Chaos, Random, Oliver, Ollie, Ruger. Ruger is definitely a gun, which is why it was added to the list - and my hubby's first choice. ;)

ok, now we've decided to choose between Chaos, Jimi (Hendrix), Stevie (Ray Vaughn) and Ruger.

i think Chaos is cute, but i'm pushing for Jimi. in fact, i think i've decided, i just need to convince the rugged tough guy who's been melted into a teenage girl with this new baby crawling all over him. you should hear the baby talk. bwa ha ha ha ha ha

We had a cat named Random. He was.

We also had a Chaos and Amber.

In Japan, catgirls are usually called nekomimi — literally, "cat ears" — rather than the literal term nekomusume
