I posted some ideas in the events post also as umm a "newspaper dude' although we have not yet published the first edition as the asset server won't allow me to buy a think press and keep it.. *deep breath* I will be covering the ruthfest as a reporter... I would like to reveal the name of the newspaper its just welll I had it all planned how its going to be revealed so for now its "the paper that shall be named when Wilhelm can buy a thincpress and actually rez it!"

You could call it "Ruth Weekly"

hehe... reminds me of the time there was an extended SL outage...or something like that.. can't remember the details...but everyone went over to the beta preview grid, and EVERYONE was ruthed and naked...no one could switch back into their regular shapes or put clothing on (or anything in inventory if i remember right). Some of the more creative and modest began wearing various on-the-fly creations to cover up. It was actually an amusing experience.

I'll be putting up signage today on my land. My house is open to all for the duration of the fest. I'll leave the doors unlocked. FYI my land is no damage/pushing.

As this is an impromptu festival held partly on community land, Ruthfest does not officially sanction the selling of merchandise. I'll see if I can have some freebies available, though. Commemorative T-shirts and the like.

Ironicly, while setting up the t-shirts at Ruthfest, my friends and I all ended up getting Ruthed.
