I'm going to post this here because, well, what are they going to do? Ban me from the forum?

We're holding a wake for the forum inworld on Friday Feb 12 starting at 4 SLT until whenever.

It's at the Cartel group hangout but please feel free to come by if you're not a group member. It's informal, come as you are (HoneyBear promised short shorts), DJs will be spinning rock 'n roll of various genres.

Bring beer.

Oh, wait, I need a RA question:
Can someone add the Hangout SLURL to this?

Actually I meant that as a joke........but I admit I'm still a little wound up. I'll get over it quickly. :)

But Joshooah mentioned the Olympics starting too........then that reminded me that the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Daytona race starts about that time too!!! Oh, no........conflicts, conflicts.

I'll try to make it........honest:)

If I'm going to divide my attention from a NASCAR race I need to know does this DJ take requests? If so does he/she have a good sampling of The Who, Journey, Bon Jovi, along wtih a varied selection of other 80's era rock?

Hi,

I'm going to be the DJ kicking off the festivities at 4:00, and I love to take requests. The artists you named above are right up my alley and I'd love to play them for you. Show up and request them and I'm sure you'll be hearing them. Don't show up and you don't know what you'll be missing out on. :)

Eli, I'm afraid you may be getting the wrong impression. It won't involve wet t-shirts OR a mud pit.

That would be read and then listened to in almost the same manner as Linden Lab listens to their residents. I'm sure I'd pick and choose those portions of the list I wanted to play though. :P
