The name escapes me but there's a multi-storey furniture emporium near the middle of Yamma Yamma that's well worth a browse :)

The furniture in Chopsaw is incredibly prim efficient :) 3 prims for a couch, highly detailed textures.

Prim Savers!
03-10-2008 14:09
Well, it does depend on what you are looking for...I am always looking for good looking furniture while holding down the prim count.

That's why I love Prim Savers. Great couches/chairs (and sofabeds!!), many with changeable colors and loaded with poseballs.

Also really nice low-prim beds (with same attributes as above), kitchens, dinette sets...lighting...

What type of furniture are you looking for? Low-prim? Low Price? High Quality? What style/ethnicity?

We can all throw out tips, but unless you can qualify what "best" means to you it's a crapshoot.

I can attest to the very nice furniture from both Xylo and Bon Bini. Xylo has a large range of styles and has a good chunk of low prim stuff.

Bon Bini just provided me with some very nice sculpty modern-style furniture that looks really good and is low prim. If you want to take a look at the setup, go to the Port Cristalle slurl in my sig and take a look at the Commons. The bed wasn't Bon Bini, nor was the fishtank or tv. But the rest of the stuff is, including the art on the walls.

There's a mall on Vancouver Island, I think it's called the Alley Shops. There are at least half a dozen amazing furniture stores there. (It's rare to see any furniture stores in a mall, but this one seems to specialize in them.)

Anywho, a lot of the furniture is very modern and if you like loft style and sleek, this is the place to go. I don't remember any of the store names. Sorry.

There is a mall with a lot of great furniture stores. It's on Vancouver Island. The Alley, I think? I don't remember the names of the stores, either, but most of them had very modern, sleek designs. I've never seen so many competing furniture stores in one location so it's nice not to TP from store to store. If you want to furnish a loft or funky place, you should check it out.

three that come to mind for me are Laridian, she has two stores, one is an outlet, some great stuff to be found!, another is Ramos, I love their selection of accessories like candles etc and lamps. Then there is bella rose which is also really nicely made, I still use the very first couch i bought there 8 months ago, love it to death, though a little pricey.

I love furniture shopping!

I love Rustica :) really nice touches like opening doors and sounds, many are colour changeable as well.
