I guess, from a texture creator's perspective (don't know if that means that I'm A or B :P) it's just sort of an insult to have people come up and say "hey, I want to do exactly what you're doing, so tell me what I need to do so that I can compete with you" etc. I downloaded The Gimp and started from scratch using their tutorials, the tutorials here in the forums, and pulled myself up by my own bootstraps. I can't even count the number of people who have come up and said, "yeah I'm a pro at [photoshop, psp, etc] but you should just teach me and you're a jerk if you don't." Ugh! That sort of attitude makes me want to become a D and just hide in a hole somewhere.

Some of us "D"s have done ok :)

Sometimes I give a demonstration of how something works, like a week or so ago I showed a couple of people how I make spiral stairs, but I gently deflect most technical questions (or "hi, cna I hav ur scrips pls";) to the forums and stuff.

I"m a D and proud of it. I now have people coming and asking me for work (guess they think i'm rich or something..)
