Has LL made an announcement about possible PayPal transfer problems on the blog?

I never read the blog so i might have missed an announcement about the longer wait times for $ to be transfered to one's pay pal account. It's been 5 days now which is far longer than I usually wait so I'm wondering if someothing's up. Plus I've heard of other people having similar or longer wait times for transfers.

They advise that it can take 5 working days for the payment to be processed. I cash out every month and have never had my payment processed in less than 5 days so maybe give it a another few business days before becoming too concerned.

There was, and possibly still is, an issue on the payment side for paypal users, but it was stated in that blog post that the issue has nothing to do with the "process credit" side.. IE money going from SL to paypal apparently is not an issue, at least that they have publicly acknowledged.

I've had a payment processed into my paypal account since they announced the paypal issue, payment went in 14 Mar so that goes some way to confirm what Zaphod has said

It is taking longer now than it used to, for the past couple of weeks it has been slower than it normally is for me. Now they are dead on 5 days never quicker, Used to I would have some go 1 day sometimes 3 occasionally a 5 day, but lately they are all 5 days. I have had a couple go over 5 days and called cust svc, the first time the lady I spoke with was very nice and helpful, apologized and said she would process the late one as well as 2 others I had outstanding that were only 1 day and 3 days old. She was able to do all three in seconds and the transfer went immediatly. So obviously it isnt that difficult for them to process these things. The second time it happend I called and the lady I spoke with was very rude and short with me and told me to wait till close of business that day and see if it went through and if it didnt to call back.
Anyway, long story short - Yes I have noticed it is taking longer now, and sometimes even longer than the 5 days. Has anyone heard anything else about the SL Debit card? Seems like that would be a good way to get at our money quicker, I was excited when I heard LL was considering it.

My recent observations are similar to those mentioned above. It has been taking 5 full business days after the day the order is placed.


I suspect they slowed it down for fraud protection and to accumulate interest.

Well mine was denied without explanation and returned to my Linden account.
Paypal never received it and claim to have no knowledge of the transaction so it appears it never left my Linden account. I waited 6 days to be told it had been denied now waiting anxiously for some sort of explanation.
In the meantime I have instigated another transfer process and will be on tenter hooks until the transfer takes place successfully

I don't think its a PayPal problem. I got my latest withdrawal in 3 days, one of those days being a saturday, on which I received my money. I suspect that it has to do more with thier internal risk API bogging things down than anything.
