That points to long lists of promo and freebie skins, both male and female, from lots of sellers. Those might help you to find a designer whose work matches what you want.

There are so many skins out there. I usually go through the search here and pull up all the 'best skins' threads and make my way around. I also have wandered into quite a few unmentioned and unknown stores that have beautiful skins as well. Be sure to also buy the cleavage enhancer. I think I mentioned that in the last thread about skins.

Robin Sojourner. Yes, she does them for adults, too. I used one for April Fool's some time ago. (I really should have lit this shot much better)

From: Katheryne Helendale The problem with Redgrave is that EVERYBODY has a Redgrave. I didn't join SL to look like everybody else. I have a strong preference for ISSIGONIS skins ( http://www.issigonis.com/). Not too many skin/shape designers seem to be able to pull off a good, realistic Asian look, but ISSIGONIS does it really well. I also have a skin/shape set by Nany Merlin that I got back before Soul skins became popular. I don't have a single Redgrave on my main and "main-alts"... most of the skins I have are from LeLutka, a.C.Store, Tuli, Lara Skins, PixelDolls

From: Brenda Connolly Last I checked, about a month ago, her $10 Retirement sale was going on. She is retiring the 2.0 line to make ready for a new series is what I've been told. I bought about 20 skins at $10L each. Sorry to revive yet another thread, but hey, that's popular lately. That 10L retirement sale of 2.0 line that was mentioned in the above posted message from 9/12/09 is still going on. Still 10L. So, at least from August 2009 until today 2.0 line 10L retirment sale. Did the person behind Sin Skins retire from Second Life herself (instead of just the skins)? I'm just curious what happened there. Sorry for reviving yet another thread I just curious. Nosy.

I currently wear Exodi. I have previously worn Naughty, Tres Very, and LF Chai. All great skins. The Abyss skins are from the same folks who make Naughty.
Other great skinmakers that I've seen: Tuli, Dutch Touch, Laqroki, Belleza, Rockberry and League. The list is really too long, depends on the kind of look you're going for. Redgrave... eh. I have a hard time with them because half of the skins look "douchebag orange" to me. More like a bad spray tan, although the rest of the detailing is really nice.

Since I revived the thread I guess I should note that I'm currently wearing Curio. Finally got around to trying it. Recommendable, it is, and I do.

From: Count Eisenhart Um, can anyone suggest some skins for men??? Belleza has great skins for both men and women. They are expensive, 2000 L for a skin. You get bald+hairbase in the pack. Not sure if you get more options than that. Belleza is known to spoil their customers with free group gift skins. But alas, they just gave out male skins for Xmas, so now there is a female free skin. The joining fee of 250 is so worth it! Dutch Touch started with male skins just recently. Their first skins sold for 1000L for 4 different facial hair options! Woot! Including bald and hairbase here too. They came with other skins, including one specially for redhaired men. Can't tell how much the newer skins cost. Other male skins... Redgrave yes. Very good. PXL too. I wear skins from Curio (Gala Phoenix) now. Before that I loved Dutch Touch's skins. And LAQ... and Tuli. Belleza's skins has looked a bit "off" for me, but their new skin looks very youthful and fresh.

From: Melita Magic Got some Cupcakes skins at the Haiti Relief shop in Squiggles and they are very nice! Did a search for Cupcakes and a Haiti Relief on Squiggles and also tried locating Squiggles thought the map system. Meh no luck. Are the skins special and just available at that location? Post a landmark with the complete sim name please? Also (for a split second) saw a female avie wearing a skin that had so much detail (Rib and collarbone) it was amazing. Zooming into get her profile name and poof! she was gone. Gah. Anyone know of a maker that incorporates that much detail into their creations? Thanks! Update-found the awesome skin with real rib detail at Curio! Tried to visit the Scribble sim but it was so lagged down from visitors scripts one cannot walk. Shame.

From: Brenda Connolly ... I found SinSkins my first month in SL, she had an under 30 day freebie pack. I've never worn anything since. I just noticed the wording of this. You've been nude all this time? What about all those pictures?!

From: Melita Magic Got some Cupcakes skins at the Haiti Relief shop in Squiggles and they are very nice! I love the skins from Cupcakes. Great gifts from the group and frequent sales too. Not in world right now, but I believe the store is just called Cupcakes, on the sim with the same name. She had the Haiti relief skins available in her mainstore as well as the skybox in Squiggle (that fundraiser is over). Not sure if you can still get the Haiti relief skins at the mainstore?

Update-found the awesome skin with real rib detail at Curio! Hey, I know you *waves* Yup, you got it.. Curio. Gala's the only skin maker to produce something good enough IMO to replace the one I spent over a month making for myself. Other notables: Laqroki Belleza Soul X2 Exodi I'll go check out Leagues skins.. I've been there but never really looked at the skins.

Was it Scribble? Sorry...
I have one of the Cupcakes Haiti relief skins on in my current in-world profile if anyone wants to see it. I love the eye makeup up close. The second skin had a very subtle natural makeup.
The Haiti relief thing has ended, but a lot of the shops had their Haiti relief products on display in their own shops afterward. My bet is that Cupcakes is/does/will, as well.
