I personally have seen many Mature places where this kind of behavior is rampid. I do run a "Mature" based build, but you will never see rude or crude people just hanging around, propositiong for sex and the like. It's a shame that people whom ar interested in the darker sides of SL can't behave with class and morals. I personally kick those types out of my establishment and would not tolerate such behavior. Aside from the adult like civilized discussions, you would never be able to tell that W/we are a D/s build. You will not find playrooms and sex rooms. That is not the type pf croud I am trying to attract. Just a great group of people who talk about everything under the sun, just like everyone else. I know there are others of the community who do this as well. I just wish there were more

And if you get tired of all the sight seeing and just want a friendly place, the Elbow Room is always welcoming to newcomers

I am an artist in RL and thought it would be fun to have a SL gallery, etc... but am now losing interest.[/QUOTE]
F D Artistry Gallery is one place where can look into to present your works without your commiting to setting up a gallery. This art group caters to and act as a show case for young artists in SL.

Course I have a G3 mac
Can you play SL on your G3? After reading your post, I got the idea to load SL on an older G4 with a whopping 450 MHz. I was amazed that it even loaded but was surprisingly playable but horribly slooow. Great suggestions in this thread for a new AV. Thanks all especially concerning the art gallery suggestions.

I'm still only two weeks old to SL, but I'll give you my top two places: I second the recommendations for the Lost Gardens of Apollo. Totally, shockingly beautiful place and for the most part good people there behaving themselves. Number two is the Kissing Booth in Anma. It's a small dance club with very friendly staff and regulars. Very welcoming to newbies and very easy to talk with (owned by people who have years of online sim experience). And a little advice-- take the time to click on and read the profiles of the people you meet. Sometimes what you read there will tell you how approachable they are or not. See you around the world sometime. :>

Artemesia. The nice people don't hang out. They keep themselves modestly buttonned up.
