I'm getting the same results and I do have 'access from mainland' checked in my estate tools. Is this a bug or is this the way it going to be?

I have bug reported it as well.

I can find the stores on the island when I'm on my island, but not my store on the mainland...and vice versa.

Grrrr.

Yes, we can only search for items on our own island - not very effective. So actually all searches from the mainland all weekend will not turn up any Island owner retail stores and event venues. The people that pay the most to be in SL will be without search services all weekend.

I have a mainland roadside parcel so I listed it in search and added landmark givers to the parcel so folks can find the retailers on my island. Any Island owners who want to add a Landmark giver there just IM me.
