Does anyone know how long this will take usually? On the 13 th of March I transferred Linden dollars to my Paypal account. But the status is still "In progress" for 8 days now. Is there any delay? It is a lot of money , more than 1700 USD...Can somebody help me?

LL's billing department likes to sit on our money and earn interest on it. It'll get there, but not before they earn a few weeks of interest...

It's actually only been 6 business days, with the guidelines stating 0-5 to process, so you're just a little outside of the expected time frame. Given the amount of the transfer, though, LL may be holding it to ensure no fraudulent activity has taken place. They made a blog post not too long ago regarding this possibility, although I'm not motivated enough to go find it right now. ;)

OK, I'm more motivated than I thought:

The Risk API uses a complicated algorithm to identify accounts with suspicious activity and prevent them from trading Lindens or cashing out.

The blog post doesn't specifically address your issue, but I suspect that any large cash out amount is likely to be caught by their algorithm and held for further review.

But why should I have suspicious activity? I bought 2 sims in 2 weeks, and then I was charged for that at the moment I ordered them.... Now, I am making money and I have to wait....

I'm not saying you did anything wrong or out of the ordinary, just that the program may hold all large cash out amounts until an actual human can verify that the funds came from legitimate sources, especially if it's not usual for your account. Or maybe it's just a glitch...only LL can say for sure. I'd call if you don't get your money in the next day or two.
