I keep flying involunatarily off my parcel.

In my home parcel I keep flying off my parcel of land having not pushed fly or anything. If i do nothing, I can get as high as 10,000 meter or more. I own several parcels in the area, but it only affects me and apparently one neighbor who owns adjacent land. I can sit to get back down, but when i get up i fly again. If I tp to another land, i am fine. When I come back, I may walk around for a bit, but then I fly again. I cleared that land of all objects and that seemed to work, until I rezzed my house back...then back into the sky. Anybody have any answers?

Hmm.. Either there's a heck of a lot of lag (and I've been seeing lag like crazy today).. or there's an error in the sim. My suggestion is to get on Help Request and see if you can get a Linden to look into it.

You said "until I rezzed my house"... does it have a security system that maybe acting up and orbiting you off the land?

First if its only you try removing all scripted attachments, naughty bits, guns, walks , aos , and see if that foxes it ..if not
its the Time Dialation on the sim send a help request while you are flyng asking a Linden to come see you and not tp you or pull you down but to re start the sim. This has happend 3 times now on my parcels (actully the whole sim) and it was 6 days thru last weekend and into this week.


also check your bumps/pushes to see if a security system is doing it damn I wish I was at home I have a great shot of me and Mia Linden stuck flailing around at 500m under my house LOL

Nope no security other than lockable doors. I finally returned all objects. I am redoing the whole thing right now. So far problem has not recurred. Wierd thing is it affected my neighbor as well (corner of sim). Only scripts I know of are radio, poseballs, door locks, window tints. Probably one or two more, but I am a simple person I guess. I don't script myself (yet), so use free scripts for doors and poseball i made. I have read script and see nothing obvious that would cause this. It seem almost like poseball thing I have seen where if it is prim to far, you sort of tp to another place or poseball. But very very extreme.

I read your post Distilled, it sort of helps and doesn't at the same time! But feel less alone now LOL. I have spent two days asking everyone i know and even many i don't. Best answers i got so far.

Maybe it's time to bug report this. It really sounds like havok is getting stomped on

yes Havoc is a mess and I am in a sim corner as well.

it seems a bug from the pose balls though to.
Minh do bug report I do each time it happens as I hope some one will look into it soon.

But if you have the patience to wait for a live helper with the ability to re start the sim, it will fix it for a few weeks or so.

As far as I know, pose balls just sit there and wait for you to sit on them.. until you do, they do nothing.. I think associating this problem with any kind of scripted object, be it an animator, a pusher, or whatever, is probably leading us away from the root of the problem. I am on a sim edge myself, so that almost certainly has something to do with it.. however it has happened to me 500 meters above -any- scripted objects..
