Me? I finally found a use for that Tiny wordpress template I found awhile back. It's a perfect fit for the tiny little 385px. window I have to work with.

I was hoping to have this forum in there! ...I'm not running SL in a window to speed up SL life, which means I have to Alt - Esc to get back to a real browser ....
It would have been interesting to access the forum whilst still in SL .. but it doesn't seem to let you login to your account through the browser ... ..on another note, sometimes the horizontal bar appears for sites .. sometimes it doesn't ...so the one personal site I may have used you can't scroll across to the menu on the right hand side ... lol |

You sure ask a lot of questions, FD.
All I know is you just put the url in the space provided (in your Profile). Check "load webpage" and you're done. It won't play Flash, so any flash games are out. It will just load the page you have the url set to, it's like a web browser. People can surf from the links that are ON the page you have there, though. _____________________

When you open the slboutique.com page in the web tab and log in it gives you a page without a search field. ???
 The sl-forums work in the web tab, if only the owners would make a web tab sized version of it. An LSL mini-page version might be useful. The mozilla browser won't play music streams, will it?  _____________________

I serioiusly doubt I'll put anything on "my web tab". It seems a useless and easily abused feature to me. I intend to ignore it, and I doubt I'll ever open that tab on anyone else's profile, either.
If I did bother to put anything thare, it would likely be a simple picture, or a link to my store on SL Boutique. But at this time I have NO intention of using that feature. _____________________

I plan to use it... I'm just too busy.
I saw some great exampes a few weeks back, and I'm really excited about the possibilities. An End to misuse of "Picks". Now users have a chance to REALLY present information to others. users can define the photo dimensions, users can define the layout, and the order of "tabs". People can link in special pages about rules for contacting them.. roleplay guidelines, full on manuals for using their products, blogs and snapzila feeds... consolidating the outside SL related stuff.. within SL. personal "shrine" pages, dedicated to their SL friends and partners. handy links to off-world recources.. noob guides, databases created by collecting data sent by scripts inworld. _____________________
