OK - I will attempt to be creative another time - Right now I want furniture, dang it! I don't line what I aa seeing out there - I want high end stuff. We are setting up a very nice place on ample, well landscaped land and the quality of living room furniture is just not cutting it. I want poses in anglo furniture with an Asian flare.
On a similar note, I want a relaxing massage - not sexual, but definitely sensual animations that I can incorporate into something or other elsewhere in the house or Lands.
What I need from you, my fellow SL denizens..is where to find the best that matches my requirements. Thanks in advance.
A

My personal skybox is built and decorated courtesy of Minoru Musashi, in traditional Japanese design. He also has modern Japanese furniture.

Could not find The Loft 3.... Mr. Musashi had lovely pieces but not in the anglo style with an Asian influence. I have seen several pieces that were genuine but we are not Japanese, just choose to live with the Asian styled household - want just the suggestion to complement the house. Thanks - still looking.

Im not sure what anglo style is, but the loft 3 does have asian-inspired items, I picked up a really nice set a few months back. The loft 3 is by Colleen Desmoulins, Kingston Augustus (Hope I spelt those right) ...... check their profile, it should have a LM I would think. *Edit* I found this info on the boards, they may have moved since then, though. Go to the Search Screen, Open the "Places" File tab, and in the Search Window, Type in One of the following; "Asian Furniture", "Japanese Furniture", "Chinese Furniture". Be sure to Enable Search in Mature Properties, as this will broaden your results. You will then be provided a Huge list of Places to shop, and an Option to TP to any of them.
That's how i Not Only Found my Little Japanese house, But Furnished it as well.
Angel.

By Anglo I mean not the kneeling on the zabutons and assorted pillows in meditation poses I have been seeing a lot of. Or the very beautiful wood low chairs, one of which as an accent would be lovely. I guess I should have said Western style - sorry.
I have searched with every term even vaguely construed as Asian - i tried kimono, katana, asian , oriental, Japanese, Chinese, Zen, Buddha, I mean anything at all I could think of that would at least land me in a sim likely to have that sort of thing. I found many beautiful things - I found lovely art pieces for our home, I found Kuan Yin for my Tea House! But I have not found the couch and accessories that tell me yeah- this is it... Maybe I am too demanding...

My SL landlord sells Asian inspired living room furniture and it seems to be really popular. Search for Nessa Yiyuan, The House of Yiyuan, or Yiyuan shopping center. I am not sure how she currently has classifieds listed. There is a teleporter to the skybox the furniture is in, shes also got it on SLX and ONRez. Hope that helps.

I just bought some stuff from Yamato Nozaki, (don't remember the shop name but a profile check should produce the shop ... had to go to transaction history to find it). Very realistic and high quality.

That Tibetan cabinet I talked about was created by Abbey Underall, sorry can't remember where I bought it..other than it was a small shop with fossils in the window (possibly a small shop with fossils in the window owned by Abbey Underall).. Perre

From: Cutea Benelli Low prim & pretty, Neptune (185, 142, 27) What she means to say is that she makes very nicely textured items that are not only low-prim, but low in cost. Very good looking items, richly colored. I highly recommend.

Hosoi is right now in the middle of a major rebuild - started this past Saturday morning. The plan is to build an asian garden and market featuring high-end east asian and asian-inspired antiques, furniture, clothing, etc.
So right now, no walls, no ceiling, but in the very near future, hopefully something even better!
(I work for Hosoi Estates, in the spirit of full disclosure)
Please feel free to contact me in-world if you would like LMs or are having issues. Thanks.
