From: Dr Tardis Jauani,
have you thought about the fact that this is not the "new general" forum, and that these posts are not appropriate for a peer technical support forum?
This is the kind of stuff that got the general forum closed down in the first place. There are several other SL boards you can post this kind of stuff on. I'd suggest posting there.
dear dr.tardis, technical support is relegated to the technical talksection of the forums. warm regards, jauani wu

From: Jauani Wu dear dr.tardis, technical support is relegated to the technical talksection of the forums. warm regards, jauani wu Yes yes... Since this IS Resident Answers... here's yours. (paraphrasing your question to clarify what I hear you asking Q: Is consensual "vore-play" considered 'acceptable'? (in SL) A: Yes. Q: Why are other consensual taboo-play forms acceptable? (in SL) A: Because nearly all RL consequencess to consensual fantasy play are utterly insignificant compared to the consequences of performing those taboos in RL. (and the exceptions you're thinking of are can happen even if one isn't involved in 'taboo-play') I don't think that requiring consent dehumanizes people as much as you seem to want to imply. (FWIW: I wouldn't consider minors able to legally able to grant consent, unless they're legally recognized as imancipated, which rules out one of the large taboo topics from your question.)
