our wonderful year in SL!

Our high point this year is when our condos went 100% rented, and we finally felt successful as business owners.
I guess our fantasy in SL is to see what kind of business owners Mart and i would be, being as we both work for the "man" in RL, so we started in the fall of 2005 with about 10 condos, now we have 78 up and feel we have found success. Don't get me wrong, we make great Lindens doing this, but its not so much about the money as its about making a business run and run well. It has been an exceptionally fun year as well, meeting lots of nice ppl, and making some fantastic new friends. Best of the New Year to everyone ! |

Buying my first land... and placing the house I loved so much....
To in December to buy some more land and move my photo-studio to a separated building and make house "home" again... Until today.... to buy even a bit more land and starting to build my galary!!!! Happy New Year everyone!! Morwen. |

My high point was a couple months ago when I finally uploaded and put together a completely homemade (on The GIMP) outfit. All the seams matched!!! The skirt was not too short or too long and it fit my butt pretty darned good.
The colors were great and somenoe even wanted to buy it!!! Whoaa whoo!!!Now to just do it again LOL Happy New Year everyone. |

My high point was when I rented out my first condo (in January 2006) - it was so nice to have a guest that found value in my one-room condo with a prim limit of only 10 prims.
It has since been a privilege running a business that contributes to others' second lives -2fast |

Mine was when I first sailed my Tako with practice wind on... It was going so faaaaaaast !
Also, more recently, when I finished the Numbakulla quest (I was disappointed at the same time, as it meant that... well... it was over. I suppose I'll just have to wipe my memory clean and start again !)  _____________________

Happy New Year all.
I have had few even though I am considerably still new. When I first start having some small successes in textures, buiilding and avatars. But my most favorite high points was when a friend sent me her Adobe Photoshop 6 and creative suite. when I have had good day hanging out with friends or I discovered something new that I can do well or fun that I can do by myself. My favorite discovery was prim jello still not entirely sure what all I can do with it yet... |

I've got a couple that come to mind. In no order.
* The day my in-world mommy found me, because that moment set off everything that would follow. * Doing a kid space in the 3rd anniversary build. * My in-world birthday party, where so many people attended, we just about brought our sim to a standstill. * Winning the 2006 Bubbly Kidz beauty pageant. * the last two days, with meeting mommy's new boyfriend for the first time, and my friend Robin being adopted into the family. Everytime I create something I like I get all tickled inside, but for 3 days I spent all my time creating my first beach house and accessories, was happy w/ it.
And now have a sore back because of it, I think I need a new office chair. Also am thankful because in 2006 an old friend and I mended fences and are great buds again. Also thankful because w/ these nasty land prices I was able to buy some land at decent prices. Also thankful because I was invited to the SL wedding of the year I danced till my feet hurt. OK was just today, but I got the invite in 2006 _____________________

I would have to say the highlight of Sl for me is meeting all kinds of people, from different backgrounds and ways of living.
I am a builder and I have built many things, and still build today, I sold four cloaks in one day and that just made me feel important. Those on here I have made friends with have become very close to me and I just want to give a shout out to them all! |

Happiest of New Years Everyone,
I have only been here since Oct., but there have been so many wonderful and touching moments here in SL. It's the people that make this place what it is IMHO. I have made glorious friends and shared too many joys to list them all here. I enjoy thier company, I share their time here and it is just those simple warm moments that are worth more than all linden dollars in SL. I hope all of you have been as lucky as I have to find simply amazing people to share this world with. And wishing all the very best in 2007. Blessed be, Berfie |

Well .. I was going to say, going into Mons Venus and winning 600l$ on the $ploder with my first 10l$ .. which meant I could at last afford first land which miraculously was there on my third try .. and it's on a hill that slopes west to the sea at sunset .. Wowie Zowie!!!
