[22:09] Unable to create requested object. Object is missing from database.

I searched the known issues forum, help forusm etc.. can't find this.

Within the past month I have lost dozens of textures that I personally uploaded and have bought from vendors in SL... and now a lot of my stuff when I try to drop it in world it will not appear and SL tells me ....

Any way to fix this? Anyone have any idea? I'm at a total loss for this one as they aren't items I made but actually bought from other people.

I know this is just pointing to my own thread about the issue...but no one is much help on it really and I highly doubt LL is going to be any help. Basically it seems with an update or 20 your stuff starts to disappear from their database never to be found again. Trust me, its killing the business I spent about 6 months building and I cant do anything about it except hold onto the stuff in the HOPES that it shows up one day when I try to rez it. At least now the stuff isnt *poofing* from my inventory upon relog. Ive tried clearing cache a dozen times, relogging, different sims...sad.

This has happened to me, and sadly i think what it says is exactly what it means. The item was deleted from the database, and it therefore gone. It's dead, gone, ceased to exist.

Sadly, there isn't much residents can do other than to send condolences, which is probably cold comfort... I've had it happen on some of my old small builds, which since I was only rezzing to see which ones to save.. wasn't a loss. But it's still annoying to have it happen.

The currently active bug on this is Jira SVC-274. Please go vote for it. Although the bug was originally written about notecards and scripts, in reality all sorts of items disappear.

Torley Linden is looking for examples of items that you KNOW were OK last week or so, then disappeared recently.

Personally, I have never seen an item that got this message reappear, and I have left them in my inventory for months, over many clear caches/file deletes/reinstalls etc.. After a peak of inventory disappearances in early spring it seemed to me that this bug was fixed until the last couple of weeks, when it has begun happening again. But I cannot prove that, lol!
