Deeded my land to my group, but my group was disolved, how do I get my land back

I created a group and deeded some land to it. What I forgot to do was add aother member, so the group was dissolved. Now may land shows deeded to a group that does not exist and I cannot get it out. Nor can I just create the same group with that name, because, although the group is dissolved, the group name is still there, just with no owner. I want my land back, please help! I have called and left messages with Linden Labs, but i have not gotten an email or a call back to help me. If anyone know the answer, please let me know. Thanks.

Sadly, this is one of the most common and costly mistakes you can make (setting land for L$0 to "anyone" and having a landbot swipe it is another). As far as I know, you lost that land. It reverted to the Lindens and they will resell it at auction. Has anyone else gotten their land back after a group dissolved? I have not heard of it happening.

The best thing to do is to e-mail [email]support@secondlife.com[/email] and explain exactly what happened, what the former group name was, where the land is, when the group disappeared, and why. They should be able to help you get your land back. But it may take a while before you get it. Good Luck!
