who cares? it tastes good. ;) as mentioned, i ended up eating a much heartier meal afterall. but don't ask unless you are really curious, cuz i'm sure it is still nothing like hambuerger helper oh! i almost *gagged* just tpying it out. *bleah*

Mmmm, celery. Goes down just like dental floss.

Leftover Hamburger Helper does make a good lunch, especially if it has some hot salsa mixed in. But I think the BEST Leftover Lunch is pizza.

Glad you asked. :)
Another flat stage today at le Tour de France, 182km or 113 miles. The teams of the super sprinters managed to keep control of the race and get everyone to the last kilometer together for a big bunch sprint. For the second time in two days and the fourth time in this Tour, Mark Cavendish, who is thought by many to be the next Robbie McEwen, won the day with a time of 4h25'42".

Mc Ewen, himself, riding his 11th Tour de France, came in a close second. Cavendish was aided to victory today by his teammates. McEwen, arguably the best sprinter of his time, is on the Silence-Lotto team of current overall Tour leader Cadel Evans. This year the whole team including Robbie McEwen, who has often in the past proven himself to be an unselfish team rider, are working only for Cadel.
Therefore Robbie (in red and black in the picture) was on his own for the sprint today but that is never a problem for the Australian who is famous for coming from nowhere to position himself perfectly to snatch victory from his rivals.

After the race he told an interviewer that today Cavendish was just stronger.

WOW! i watched a little today, and it didn't seem all that flat. they were making their way up a winding road to get over a mountain. very pretty! and not to take away from their amazing abilities, the two in the picture today are both rather handsome. eye candy is always a bonus, especially when it comes in a package of tight shorts. :D

Does anyone have a good lead to a source of cardboard textures?
I've checked out Matika Wombat and Lauren Fox. Any others?
Urban Spirit, in Camazotz. They have a load of free cardboard box textures in the store. Everything in the whole build is free for the taking, actually.

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Camazotz/161/52/105

Edit: They're in the 'props and mixed textures' vendor, in the NE corner of the store.

On days when I am feeling especially carnivorous, I'll make up some Steak Tartare and stuff it into some celery stalks, and have it with some radishes and black olives...Yummy.

it sounds yummy. but oh, i rarely eat meat in the mid-day (anymore). my biggest meal of the day used to be at 10:30am, at which point i would commit murder to get my hands on a plate of meat and mashed potatoes with gravy! oh, the good ol days.

you can have my radishes. *bleah*

Hmm... I like my steaks so close to raw they try to crawl off the plate... but i have never been tempted by steak tartare however.... I love olives and celery as long as it has something else to recommend it...

Other stuff I love raw- oysters- never have had a cooked one - and tuna- omg - raw tuna... big sashimi fan here. Did I mention tomatoes earlier? Hmmm- big ripe and juicy-- love tomatoes :D

If it's done right, and the meat is freshly ground, it is heavenly

If you didn't get the pizza in the fridge before thebacteria got to it, then there's no real difference between pizza and revenge.

Are you ladies suggesting I need to go fishing and bring back a limit of trout? It's Friday afternoon! Don't tempt me.
