I don't want to start a geek war, but IMO for those who aren't big sci-fi fans I think LoTR offers alot more than "those other 3" Star Wars. Plus I think Brenda would like Urukai more than clone troopers. There's just something satisfying about putting a 1' by 4' chunk of metal thru people, even as impractical as it is.
Then there's that Viggo Mortensen guy, but who really cares about him? _____________________

Although, I do have to say, I think I prefer him scruffy as he was in LOTR. And I can't really watch too many of his other movies, anyway..waaaaay too violent for my tastes. I agree, Vampaerus; the LOTR triology is MUCH better SW 1-2-3. Those Urukai were much better to watch than the storm troopers. |
